Nikki & Greg

Nikki & Greg first crossed paths at a fraternity party back in their JMU days. She was the designated driver that night. He was deep in wrestling season and skipping the drinks too. Across the room, their eyes met, and three hours of conversation later, dinner plans were set for the next night.

That first date landed on October 12, 1988. A double date, actually, with Greg's housemate along for the ride. While waiting on their food, the two passed the time with napkin games of hangman and Pictionary. The food, as always, delivered.

They graduated JMU in 1990, but The Little Grill never left the rotation. Every trip back to Harrisonburg includes a stop at their old haunts, and the Grill tops that list every time. The eclectic atmosphere, the food, the service. Walking through the door still feels like stepping back into college.
