* What does Grill Magic mean to you?

"Grill Magic to me means authentic food served by and for authentic people. We get to be ourselves at work and it shows in the joy we are able to express and bring to our customers."

* What is your favorite menu item to make and why?

"My favorite menu item to make is over easy eggs because they are very simple in concept but difficult to do perfectly.

* Do you cook much at home, or do you like to take a break from it?

"I cook at home regularly. Truly it is probably the thing I spend most of my time doing. I just love food and can make better food than I can buy in most cases."

* How would you describe the Little Grill's kitchen culture?

"Our kitchen culture is the most positive of ones l've seen...

We care about and try to support each other when someone's having a rough day or the work is particularly hard... When you're in the trenches with good people it feels great."

* How do you balance experimenting with new ideas versus keeping the classic recipes that people love?

"The fact that our products are made from scratch makes it really easy to be satisfied with the Grill classics and proud of the food I'm serving. That said, the monthly specials really help me to keep the creative juices flowing and provide an outlet for experimentation without taking away or changing the dishes folks have enjoyed for years.
